Shipping policy

Everything on Elken is packed and sent by the maker who made it, straight from their workshop to your door. Here’s how it works.

Costs & options

UK delivery is £7, and free on orders over £300. Every order is sent tracked, and you'll receive tracking details as soon as your piece is dispatched. Larger pieces, like furniture, are delivered by specialist couriers.

Lead times

Many of our pieces are made to order, so lead times vary by maker and are shown on every product page. Once your order is confirmed, the maker dispatches within the stated lead time and in any case your order will arrive within 30 days, unless a longer timescale was agreed with you before you bought. If anything changes, we’ll tell you straight away.

Ordering from more than one maker

Because each maker ships their own work, an order from two makers arrives as two deliveries, each with its own tracking. You still pay one delivery charge for the whole order.

Receiving your delivery

Please make sure your delivery address is right and that someone’s available to receive larger pieces as couriers may need a signature or access arrangements for furniture. If a delivery fails because no one was in or the address was wrong, redelivery costs may apply, so if in doubt, tell us about tricky access when you order.

Delivering outside the UK

 We currently deliver within the UK. Planning a project elsewhere? Get in touch.

Samples

Samples are small, quick and sent tracked like everything else. Order them from any product page. 

If something goes wrong

Late, lost or damaged? Request a return from your account or contact us at info@elkendesign.com and we’ll take it up with the maker and courier for you.
