Application
Suitable for curtains, Roman blinds, cushions, headboards, lampshades and light upholstery. The 145cm width and 230gsm cotton drape well and are easy to make up.

Making up
We recommend having the fabric made up by a professional curtain maker or upholsterer. Check the pattern repeat before you order, and allow extra fabric so the pattern can be matched across widths and seams. Your maker can tell you exactly how much you need.

Care and use
Dry clean only. Line curtains and blinds to protect the print from direct sunlight, which also gives a fuller drape.

Before you cut
Check that the colour and print are as expected before cutting or making up. Fabric that has been cut can’t be returned.

Luke and Catherine spent fifteen years designing prints for fashion before turning their attention to walls. Their London studio still works the same way: every design begins as an original drawing or brushstroke, inspired by antique botanical illustration and historic textiles, and those marks stay visible in the finished piece. Each wallpaper roll is printed to order in the UK with water based inks on paper from managed forests, so nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be wanted.

The same hand-painted designs are also made into fabric in the UK, printed on soft cotton as standard. Use them for curtains, blinds and cushions, or pair a wallpaper with its matching fabric.

Why Elken Chose It

So much wallpaper today is drawn on a screen. Curate Space still starts with a pencil and a brush, and you can see the hand in every repeat, which felt refreshing the moment we saw it. The making holds up too. Each roll is printed to order in the UK with water based inks, on paper made from FSC certified pulp and recycled fibres. Independent tests put its VOCs around ten times below EU limits, so it's better for the air in the room. It arrives without plastic, and when you're ready for a change, it strips off dry.
